Rana Sioufi, PhD

Psychologist


Rana Sioufi is a clinical psychologist specializing in psychodynamic therapy, working with adults and adolescents who struggle with a broad range of issues, including anxiety, depression, substance use, eating disorders, body image and identity. She has extensive experience working with college, graduate and international students, having completed an internship and a postdoctoral fellowship at Fordham University, Counseling and Psychological Services. She received her B.S. in psychology from the University of Ottawa and Ph.D. in Psychology from Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM). She has published on cultural identity, discrimination, and group dynamics. Other interests include social & cultural approaches to emotional distress, more recently focusing on our relationship with the human and non-human environment. In addition to English, Rana speaks French and Arabic.
