Henry Hyland

Henry is a clinical social work graduate trainee pursuing a masters degree in social work from Columbia University. Henry works with adults, adolescents and couples to address issues relating to anxiety, depression, and life transitions. Henry works psychodynamically, exploring the complexity of internal life and the tension between conscious and unconscious impulses which are often at the root of symptoms. Henry listens attentively and non-judgmentally, making meaningful associations and providing a space for the kind of self-exploration essential to fostering insight and continued growth. Prior to pursuing training in psychotherapy, Henry worked in a number of fields, including in the arts and in education. He holds a B.A. in Film & Photography.
