Batya Srolovitz, LMSW
Psychotherapist
Batya is a psychotherapist working with adults and couples at Rose Hill Psychological Services. Batya earned her Masters degree in Social Work from Columbia University, and her Bachelors degree from Columbia University where she studied Psychology and Fine Arts.
Using psychodynamic therapy, she accompanies her clients through a process of examining who they are, how they came to be, and where they ultimately want to go. She collaborates with couples to approach their dynamics with curiosity and awareness so that they can learn to examine themselves and work towards the relationships they ultimately crave. While obtaining her Masters degree, Batya trained in psychodynamic and spiritual therapy at a residential treatment center for addiction and substance abuse. She has worked in other clinical settings with clients who want to heal issues such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, eating disorders, and trauma. Using her background as an artist, Batya incorporates visualization and creativity with her clients, encouraging their imaginations and self-expression. As a certified Intuitive Eating Counselor, Batya works with clients who want to heal their relationships with food and their bodies, helping them reclaim a satisfying relationship with both.
